Welcome to Peace Academy, a Pre-K through Grade 12 coeducational private Islamic school.
Steeped in history, a vision firmly set on the future, Peace Academy is an independent accredited Islamic school that educates, nurtures and empowers the individual student for lifelong learning. Founded in 1989, the school strives to offer a challenging and supportive environment for each student.
Located in mid Tulsa, Peace Academy services a diverse population that travels from many different areas of the city as well as outside the city to attend. Our student body is made of mostly first generation Americans with immigrant parents from different parts of the world including Africa, the Near East, Middle East, and Asia. Although our school teaches the core subjects of its academics in English, the majority of our students are at least bilingual and some are trilingual. Also, the majority of our parents hold undergraduate and graduate degrees with many holding doctorates. Peace Academy is flexible and progressive in today’s ever-changing educational landscape. Peace Academy sits on 9 acres shared with Masjid Al-Salam with a playground, soccer field, basketball court and ample parking. We are a close-knit community of over 200 students and over 40 faculty, who share a deep commitment to one another.
