Admission Requirements
Peace Academy
Please carefully review the following guidelines to facilitate your application process. Parents/Guardians will receive admission status notifications upon the completion of the admission process.
Following items are required to complete enrollment:

Enrollment Form: Ensure all required enrollment forms are duly completed and signed, including all supporting documents. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may result in delay and possible loss of admission.

Fees and Tuition: Adhere to the Fee Schedule for the payment of all fees and tuition. The registration Fee is non- refundable. Once the child is in school, no refunds or cancellations of tuition and/or other fees will be made regardless of subsequent absences, withdrawal or dismissal of the student from the school.

Financial Assistance: Peace Academy offers limited financial assistance to qualified applicants. If you feel you are eligible for financial assistance, please contact Walid Shaker at finance@patulsa.org or by phone at 918-640-5051. Financial Assistance is funded primarily by Sadaqah, Zakaah and community members’ donations. All financial assistance inquiries should be received by no later than June 30th, 2024.
NOTE: Parents/Guardians are responsible for keeping student information current (address change, phone numbers, immunization records etc.)

For New Applicants: Following items are required in addition to the stated above.

Transfer Records: For transferring students, a satisfactory report and a letter of recommendation from the previous school are mandatory. A signed release letter for the student's transfer record is also required. Please include copies of standardized exams from previous years and, if applicable, an Individual Education Plan (IEP) with the application.

Placement Test(s): All new students are required to complete placement test(s) as part of the admission process.

Interview Process: Both Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and student(s) are required to attend an interview as part of the admission process.

Age Eligibility: Students must meet the minimum age requirement by September 1st of the academic year for which they are applying. For instance:

Pre-K3 students must be three years of age before starting pre-K3.

Pre-K4 students must be four years of age before starting pre-K4.

KG students must be five years of age by September 1st of the current year etc.

Eligibility for higher grades will be based on a combination of age, maturity, school records and the placement test / evaluation.

Waiting List / Availability of Seats: Depending on the grade applied for, seats may or may not be available, and the applicant may be placed on a waiting list. In this event, you will be notified and given a waitlist rank based on the date your application was received.

Probation Period: New students are on probation for the first four months that they are enrolled at Peace Academy and may be dismissed from the school at any time for valid academic or disciplinary reasons.

Special Education / ESL: Peace Academy does not currently offer special education / ESL or alternative programs and as such will not be able to enroll students recommended for these programs.
NOTE: Admission for new students is contingent upon their successful completion of both the placement tests
and interviews. The assessments and interviews are scheduled to occur during the summer.
