Humanities-Islamic Studies I

Grade: 9

2 semesters – 1 credit

The primary objective of Islamic Studies I is to introduce and instill the main teachings of Islam into our students.

We use a structured approach to teach Islam and the following 4 areas are covered in the course:

  1. Quran
  2. Faith & Worship
  3. Seerah/Islamic Social studies
  4. Morals and Manners

This course is aligned with the Oklahoma Academic Standards.

Humanities-Islamic Studies II

Grade: 10

2 semesters – 1 credit

Successful completion of Islamic Studies I is required.
The following 4 areas are covered in the course:

  1. Quran
  2. Faith & Worship
  3. Seerah/Islamic Social studies
  4. Morals and Manners

Humanities-Islamic Studies III

Grade: 11

2 semesters – 1 credit

Successful completion of Islamic Studies II is required. The following 4 areas are covered in the course:

  1. Quran

Grade: 12

2 semesters – 1 credit
