Dr. Nida’a Abu Jbara






Academic Counselor

Dr. Nida’a Abu Jbara earned her PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Abu Jbara also holds a master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Abu Jbara has about 5 years of college and university teaching experience and 4 years of high school teaching experience.  In addition, she has over 20 years of experience in human resources management and advisory. She is certified in Human Resource Diversity and Development from the University of Oklahoma, and in Personnel Practice from the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD), United Kingdom.

As a life-long learner, sharing knowledge and experience is a natural characteristic of her personality. She enjoys serving as a mentor and guiding others to achieve their goals. She likes to motivate students through developing a trusting relationship with them based on respect and confidence in the abilities of each other.

Dr. Abu Jbara serves as the Academic and Career Counselor of Peace Academy and as the teacher of Financial Literacy and Interpersonal Skills to 12th grade.
