Nida’a Abu Jbara
Nida’a Abu Jbara is a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Her research interest is in performance management, performance measurement, and soft skills. Currently she is working on her doctoral research to develop an assessment tool to measure soft skills in the performance of healthcare providers. Miss Abu Jbara holds a master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Miss Abu Jbara has over 20 years of experience in human resources management and advisory. She is certified in Human Resource Diversity and Development from the University of Oklahoma. Also, she is certified in Personnel Practice from the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD), United Kingdom.
As a life-long learner, sharing knowledge and experience is a natural characteristic in her personality. She enjoys serving as a mentor and guide others to achieve their goals. She likes to motivate students through developing a trusting relationship with them based on respect and confidence in the abilities of each other. As of the beginning of this academic year (2019-2020), Miss Abu Jbara will serve as the Academic and Career Counselor of Peace Academy.
